How to Get Involved
This site only works if neighbors like you actually use it — so the single most important thing you can do is start there.
Shop Owners
Local Revolt Arlington is built to increase foot traffic, word of mouth and generate sticky customers for your business — building connections with the community is the glue and that is the main ambition of local revolt. If you're curious about this, please fill out this form. Or download the full partnership guide below to see exactly what's involved.

Shop local when the moment is right
Life is busy and complicated, and this site isn't here to guilt you out of the occasional Amazon order. Convenience matters, and sometimes a same-day delivery is exactly what you need. But for gifting, browsing, or those moments without a ticking clock — try here first. A local-first mindset doesn't have to mean local-first every time. Small shifts, made by enough people, move the needle.
Exchange with your neighbors
The circular economy section is built for exactly this — passing along what you no longer need, finding what someone nearby is offering. It's good for your wallet, good for the planet, and honestly, a pretty nice way to meet the people on your street.
Help keep things accurate
As the directory grows, it needs people who care enough to flag outdated info. If you notice a business listing that's stale — wrong hours, old contact details, a storefront that's closed — let us know. Keeping the directory trustworthy is a community effort.
Become a moderator
If you have a few hours a month and a stake in this community, consider helping moderate postings on the site. It's a small time commitment with a real impact on quality.
Become a storefronts outreach lead
As more businesses join, we'll need people to serve as local ambassadors — helping shops submit updated interior photos, keep their contact info current, and share what's actually on their shelves. If you're a people person who loves this town, this one's for you.
